Is Mount Horu the end of Ori? ›

Mount Horu is a giant volcanic mountain that serves as the final challenge Ori must overcome in their journey. Housing the Element of Warmth within its core, Mount Horu slowly builds towards an eruption throughout the course of the game and nearly results in the complete destruction of Nibel.

When focusing on the main objectives, Ori and the Blind Forest is about 8 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 11½ Hours to obtain 100% completion.

Map Stone Fragment Location

The Map Stone Fragment you need in Mount Horu is no small feat to collect. You'll approach it from above in this top side-section of the map. In order to begin the sequence, you'll need to trigger the rising platform by jumping over toward the open section on the left.

Description. The Definitive Edition features all the same areas and story as the original Ori and the Blind Forest but with some unique additions. The largest of these are a pair of brand new areas called the Black Root Burrows and the Lost Grove.

If you're holding out hope for another Ori and the Blind Forest sequel after Will of the Wisps, bad news: it's probably going to be a while. Ori and the Will of the Wisps has a bit darker plot than blind forest. It's map is much bigger than its prequel. ORI WOTW is pretty challenging. Sein isn't in this game but there is a similar character called Seir.

In the end, Hollow Knight claims victory due to its flexibility: you can explore most of the map after a short time with the game, and grab the power-ups you want in the order you want to grab them. This adds an element of personalization that Ori, with its more prescribed progression order, can't match.

All 43 Secret areas. The ones in Ginso Tree, Misty Woods and Forlorn Ruins are all missable. The areas are shown in the order they can be obtained in the game, however some were missed first time round, hense the amount of life/energy cells not being consistent.

Sorrow Pass

This Ability Cell is behind a locked door. From the Ability Point itself, head right, jump down this area with the updraft, run left, jump down again, and situate yourself toward the right in the small section with the opening in the ceiling. Jump up there, and the lever is on the left.

How to dash in Ori and the Blind Forest? ›

It is activated by pressing RB / L Ctrl . It can only be used while Ori is on the ground. Ori will still take damage from enemies while dashing. This burst of speed lasts about half a second.

There are 8 Map fragments across the world that have to be placed into one of the 8 Map Stones in order to unveil the world map of a specific area. The Map Stone in Forlorn Ruins is missable. This area can't be revisited after you finish it.

Fortunately it's not like in the first edition of Ori and the Blind Forest, where you couldn't load the save after completion. As Nope said, if you come back to the save after watching the final cutscene, you are placed back at the Willow End shrine, from where you can warp anywhere you want and finish everything 100%.

Should I play Blind Forest or Will of the Wisps first? As both Ori games are story-based, we would recommend playing Blind Forest first, as Blind Forest comes before Will of the Wisps story-wise, and playing Will of the Wisps will spoil you some story events that happen in Blind Forest.

Willow's End is the final location found in Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

I don't believe there are multiple endings. The only events that affect the story are the ones necessary to advance through the game. Even the optional Black Root Burrows area doesn't affect the ending, it only gives you extra background info about what happened in the prologue.

The game closes with the forest beginning to return to life and Ori, Gumo, and Naru living happily together and caring for Kuru's last remaining egg. Just before the credits roll, the egg begins to hatch and reveal a new character who will likely play a key role in the sequel...
